In 2009, Colin Turkington, racing for independent team WSR, managed to steal the championship title from Jason Plato in what proved to be a dramatic final race showdown. With Vauxhall pulling out for 2010, it will be a true test of courage and all to play for as we look set to welcome an all independent team championship to Silverstone later this year..

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship returns to Silverstone this September for its penultimate round. Few racing categories stir the emotions quite like superbike racing and the British Championship is one of the best on the planet, with factory representation from Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki.

Silverstone Classic 2010 will celebrate 60 years of the Formula 1 ‘World Championship’ at the home of British Motor Racing (and the British Grand Prix if its announced) with a selection of three high quality grids racing on the historic GP circuit, and displays and features celebrating the entire 60 years.
