Tickets

Yes, you will need your club's code in order to access the car club display packages and your club can provide you with this. If you’re not a member of a club and are interested in bringing along your classic car or car of special interest to display at the event, please contact us to discuss possible options in further detail: telephone  +44 (0) 1483 524 424 or email us.

General admission tickets are available in advance until midnight the Thursday before the event (24 August) whereas Display Packages (Car Club and RetroRun) are on sale (subject to availability) until 31 May.

We recommend buying your tickets at the earliest opportunity in order to secure the best possible price. Prices will increase throughout the build-up to the event so the earlier you book, the better. 

Unfortunately not - you need a Friday event ticket to watch the music on Friday, a Saturday ticket to watch the music on Saturday and a Sunday ticket to watch the music on Sunday.

Your general admission tickets will be available to download from your online account in early summer. We will notify you as soon as your tickets can be accessed. Please note that once your tickets have been downloaded, changes cannot be made to your booking.

If you didn't buy tickets to the 2022 event and haven't bought tickets to an event at Silverstone in the last 12 months, you’ll need to set-up a new account when you book your tickets.

If, once you have purchased your tickets, you are experiencing issues when trying to access your account or when viewing your booking details, please don't worry. We are here to help and we will get it sorted for you. Please complete the online form to access the support you need here.

We urge our fans to only purchase tickets directly from Silverstone or our official hospitality partner, travel agencies and European agency partners. 

We do not sell through ticket sites, we only sell via our own website, except for our hospitality offers, which are available via our website and our hospitality partner, Match Hospitality.   

Some unauthorised resellers may advertise on a search engine so that they are seen on the internet before us. Please check that you’re on our website and don’t be tempted by third parties, they do not have official tickets for sale. Tickets purchased from other third-party websites or resellers will be invalid and you won’t be admitted into the event.

All tickets must be booked online via the Silverstone website

You will download an eticket from your Silverstone account which you may download to print or display on your phone to gain entry into the circuit. We'll let you know once tickets are available to download.

If you have bought a Car Club Display Package and/ or a RetroRun Package, your vehicle display pass will be posted to you approximately two weeks before the event.

It includes 2 x adult general admission tickets and 1 x vehicle display pass.

No. The club codes are issued for display packages only. If you will not be bringing your car to display at the event, you’re unable to take advantage of the package.

If you’re looking to buy a car club package for the weekend of The Classic, we recommend doing so at the earliest opportunity in order to guarantee your display place at the best possible price. Car club display packages will only be on sale until 31 May, but they are subject to availability as some packages may sell out prior to this.

No, the passenger can arrive separately and can walk in with the ‘passenger’ ticket.

The vehicle display pass is posted approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

Yes. You will need to log in to your Silverstone account to make this change but please ensure that any postal address changes are made to your account by the 31 May. After this time, you will need to email: [email protected]

You receive 2 tickets per package (one for the driver and one for the passenger). You do not receive wristbands.

Yes! Tickets can be purchased here.

If you are a member of a car club and wish to buy a Car Club Display Package, you will need to contact your club for details of your exclusive booking code. Bookings for all display packages (which includes the RetroRun) will end on 31 May.

As tickets for Silverstone Festival increase in price the closer we get to the event, the best prices are secured by buying early. We also recommend signing up to our newsletters and following our social media channels for sales updates. 

Yes they do. Although children that are 15 and under on the day of the event can attend the  event for free, all children will need a ticket for entry into the venue. Please select the number of child tickets you require at the time of purchasing. One adult can accompany a maximum of four children.

If you already have your tickets and need to add child ticket(s) to your order, you can do so by logging in to your Silverstone account and adding this to your order. If you experience any issues, please email: [email protected].

We have a free entry policy for children that are 15 and under on the day of the event. A maximum of four children is permitted per each adult ticket.

Although free, all children will need a ticket for entry into the venue. Please select the number of child tickets you require at the time of purchasing.

We’re sorry, Silverstone is unable to offer refunds or exchanges for tickets unless the event is cancelled due to any circumstance for which Silverstone Circuits LTD is covered by its relevant insurance cover.

Event Need to Know

There are no pit walks for this event. For your safety, the pit lane is a restricted area and is only accessible to drivers and their teammates in possession of the correct accreditation. 

Yes, the paddocks are open to the public throughout the event. All visitors to Silverstone Festival should take extra care and keep a good watch in all directions as the paddocks are live working areas and there will be race cars and support vehicles moving continuously throughout the paddock. Please stay behind the viewing barriers at the assembly area.

For your safety, access to the pit garages and pit lane is restricted to working teams and competitors but all doors to the pit garages remain open providing plenty of opportunity to see the cars and talk to the drivers and race preparers. 

Spectators are not permitted to bring in any form of motorised transport, including e-scooters.

The last entry will be accepted at 21:00

Grandstands are free to access with all admission tickets for Silverstone Festival, but not all grandstands at Silverstone will be open. Details of which grandstands are open and disabled grandstand access will be confirmed closer to the event.

Silverstone Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend: 25 – 27 August 2023.

Yes, you can follow the race commentary on Radio Silverstone at 87.7FM. Small, portable radios will be available for you to buy at various locations at the event too so you can tune into all of the on track action. 

We do not have cash machines over the weekend of Silverstone Festival. We are a cashless site.

Yes, to ensure safety at the circuit for all our visitors throughout the event, the following items are prohibited at the venue:

  • Bags over 20 litre capacity

  • Glass bottles and glass containers (note: special dispensation may be granted by SCL for the retail by its approved traders of certain products that are stored in a glass container at Silverstone Festival. Such products will be safely packaged by the trader and this packaging must remain intact at all times while onsite). 

  • BBQs

  • Restricted and illegal substances

  • Offensive weapons

  • Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable

  • Drones or remote-controlled aircraft

  • Step ladders or any similar item which may obstruct another attendees' view

  • Lasers

  • Fireworks / pyrotechnics

  • Any items which might be subject to ambush marketing

  • Smoke canisters  

  • Tents and shelters  

  • Four-wheeled carry carts (doesn’t include those used to carry children, but must be empty at the gate)

  • Powered scooters (excluding disability scooters) / hover boards   

  • Sun parasols

  • Excessive alcohol, although you will be permitted to bring a reasonable amount into the Venue for personal consumption. 

  • No animals (excluding Assistance Dogs) will be admitted to the circuit or any car parks. All registered assistance dogs are welcome. However, before your arrival please email us on [email protected] so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

Gates will open on each day of the event at 07:30

Over the weekend of Silverstone Festival:

  • Buses run within the event from 07:30 each day each offering wheelchair access
  • Disabled parking is provided in car park 50 for blue badge holders
  • Event Mobility are based in car park 50 by the disabled parking area where mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be hired. Booking links will be confirmed in due course.

Your tickets not only include entry to the event, but also:

Yes, you can bring your bike into the circuit, though not into the grandstands, paddocks, or the concert area. 

There will be bike racks that you can chain your bike to outside of the paddocks and concert area. 

For safety reasons, do not lock bikes to the grandstands as they will be removed.

Please be aware that all roadways are in use during the event so be alert at all times. Bicycles should not be ridden through the paddocks nor through the Village Green or Shopping Village. Bikes left anywhere in the venue are solely at the owners' risk.

Spectators are not permitted to bring in any form of motorised transport, including e-scooters.

Yes, ask the staff at the gate who will scan you out as you leave the circuit. Re-entry to the site will only be permitted once your ticket is re-scanned to grant re-admission. Please review the timetable to check the last re-entry times each day.

Camping & Accommodation

Unfortunately not. If you wish to be pitched together, you must all arrive together and have the same pitch type and size booked.

You must be staying in the tent / motorhome / campervan / caravan already pitched, and should you be arriving in a second car, this must have been booked at the time of booking and must fit onto the pitch size booked. The first people arriving must bring a printed copy of the ticket and present this to the check in staff.

A person from your party already checked in and pitched, must meet you at the check in point when you arrive. There will be no holding or waiting area should they not be on site to meet you. You will be asked to leave the site and return when the lead guest is there to meet you.

Your pitch type purchased, determines the number of cars allowed on your pitch. No additional cars can be brought onto site as there will be no additional parking on site. A reminder that your cars MUST fit onto your pitch size purchased. If you have a display car that needs to be parked on your pitch, please ensure you have booked the correct pitch type to accommodate this.

Only campers booked to stay with us at Silverstone Golf Club that hold a relevant camping ticket, will be able to stay on our site.

At the time of booking, you will have selected a pitch type to include electrical hook up or not. Further email confirmation will confirm if you have booked with or without electric hook up. If you are unsure, we suggest you log into your account to view your booking.

Please note that electric pitches are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Yes, these will be signposted.

Yes, but we do advise that all campers fill up prior to arrival. Once shown to your pitch, we ask that there is no movement of vehicles and campers will need to bring the necessary water carrying equipment to fill up.

Yes, but we ask that this is kept to your pitch and disposed of safely in the rubbish bins supplied.

All rubbish can be disposed of in any of the bins provided on site, which will then be sorted at the plant.

The Silverstone Golf Club do not allow fire pits or open fires on site, due to it being grassland.

Campers may use gas barbeques only on the campsite. No charcoal or disposable barbeques will be permitted.

We ask that once shown to your pitch, that there is no movement of vehicles unless you have a ticket for a Car Club Display package. Please ask for an “Exhibitor Car Pass” upon check in which may only be use for movement of the display car. Even with this type of ticket, for safety reasons cars arriving back to the campsite after dusk will not be permitted to move their car around the campsite and will be required to park their car in the designated carpark and not on the campsite pitch.

Yes, we will have a shop selling essentials. Please note no tobacco products will be sold.

No, please do not move your vehicle off your pitch until you are ready to depart from our campsite.

 Please note that a van that you will be sleeping in is classed as a Live in vehicle. More than 1 “Van” will not be permitted on 1 pitch.

You will require a separate ticket for the Silverstone Festival and camping at Silverstone Golf Club. You can add camping tickets to your Silverstone Account once they are on sale.

You will need the relevant Silverstone Golf Club camping tickets to gain entry to the campsite. Upon check in, you will be issued with a wristband which must be worn at all times and shown to gate security. Lost wristbands will not be re-issued. Any persons on site found not wearing a Silverstone Golf Club wristband, will be asked to leave site immediately.

Silverstone Golf Club is a lively but not wild campsite. There will be a large entertainment area where you will find food vendors and a fully stocked bar. Here you will find an outside seating area for you to relax with a bite to eat and a beverage before or whilst enjoying the Live Entertainment performing over this weekend. Details will be confirmed closer to the event.

You will also have access to the superb Clubhouse and another marquee offering good value breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. Outside there are seated areas with wonderful views where you can relax and watch the sport on the big outdoor screen. We ask you to always respect your fellow campers when returning to your pitch.

The Silverstone Golf Club Campsite opens on the Thursday 24th August 2023 and closes again on Monday 28th August 2023 at midday. There is no price difference with regards to how many nights you stay…. So why not make the most of it. At the time of booking, you will select your day of arrival, if you wish to change this date, please email [email protected].

Various bars will be open over the weekend with TV’s showing the different sporting events.

Yes, though you will not be permitted to bring your own alcohol into the Clubhouse, marquees, garden or seating areas.

Washrooms are located at the Driving Range building. There are also permanent toilets and shower facilities for men and women in the Clubhouse. Additional temporary toilets can be found throughout the campsite and the extra shower facilities are located adjacent to the Driving Range Building.

Food vendor and Clubhouse food options will be confirmed closer to the event.

The Clubhouse is wheelchair accessible, with toilet and shower facilities for wheelchair users, and where possible, Silverstone Golf Club may be able to pitch you closer to the amenities and the Clubhouse, although this is not always guaranteed.

Sadly not, with the exception of assistance dogs. If you have an assistance dog, please make contact prior to arrival.

Silverstone Golf Club have a great team of stewards, security and staff on-site who do their best to keep the site secure. With the large numbers of campers on site, Silverstone Golf Club recommends that you keep your valuables safe at all times – either lock them away on your car, or keep them with you.

For your safety and security at the campsite the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Monkeybikes, Minimoto, Pit Bikes, Scooters, Segways & Quads 
  • Electrical Generators (Electrical Hook-ups may be rented), BBQ Gas cylinders exceeding 15kg
  • Sound systems capable of creating excessive noise
  • Campfires, firewood & fire starters 
  • Fireworks
  • Restricted & illegal substances
  • Charcoal BBQ's/ instant BBQ's
  • Non-prescription Drugs
  • Drones or laser pens
  • Offensive weapons
  • Paddling pools, swimming pools & hot tubs
  • Pet animals with the exception of assistance dogs
  • Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable for the safe environment of the Campsite by Campsite Staff
  • The Company reserved the right to stop and search any vehicle and/ or vehicle (s) on arrival and to conduct searches in relation to security at any time thereafter as appropriate to ensure the safety of all persons on the Campsite.
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to any Camper carrying a Prohibited item and/or to confiscate the prohibited item. No refund will be issued to that camper.
  • A challenge 21 policy is in place for alcohol sales at the Campsite.
  • Unauthorised trading is not permitted within the Campsite or on Company land.

Please note: random vehicle searches may be carried out on arrival at the entrance gates.

Pitches are allocated on arrival rather than being pre-allocated. If you have booked as part of a group, you must all have the same pitch type and size and you MUST arrive together if you wish to camp together.

It's really close! The circuit is just a 5-minute walk to the West 13 entrance from the campsite. We have bridge access across to track side.

Getting to the Circuit

Silverstone is well supported by many train stations close by. The closest station is Wolverton – approximately 10 miles (16km) away from the circuit. Wolverton Station offers direct train services to London.

In the area (and all under 13 miles (20km) away) are Banbury, Milton Keynes and Northampton rail stations, which have services from Euston and Birmingham New Street.  Please check connecting bus services to Silverstone, or alternatively a taxi is approximately 30 minutes from these stations. 

Our Getting Here section can help you to plan your journey to the circuit. As the circuit and routes get busy, please ensure that you leave plenty of time for your journey. 

No. To ensure you gain access to your club stand, we request that you arrive before 09:00 and do not leave before 17:30 otherwise you may be required to park in the public car park.

Official Parking

We do not allow overnight parking in our car parks. Our car parks will be closed overnight.

Parking your motorbike is free and you will not need a permit for this event. However, if you regularly attend the circuit please check per event as this is subject to change.

Car parks open up to half an hour before circuit gate opening times. Please note that this is subject to change.

Yes, parking at Silverstone Circuit is free for this event. Our public parking is clearly signposted and our stewards will be on site to direct you. 

Our Facilities

Yes, we have plenty to choose from around the circuit – from burgers, fish & chips, jacket potatoes and pies to paninis, baguettes and vegetarian food and many more. There are also a number of licensed bars serving beer and other refreshments.

We also have the Pit Stop café serving hot food, sandwiches, drinks and snacks. 

Please note 

  • You are allowed to bring reasonable amounts of alcohol for personal consumption into the venue, though excessive amounts will be refused at the gate.
  • No glass bottles or containers are allowed to be bought into the circuit at any time. You will be asked to leave them at the gates.

We do not have cash machines over the weekend of Silverstone Festival. We are a cashless site.

Yes, Silverstone shops sell a variety of merchandise during the weekend, or you can buy  in advance online to avoid disappointment. Shop now.

Yes, our merchandise shops sell a limited selection of sun creams. All other essential items can be purchased in the nearby Silverstone village before you arrive at the circuit.

Yes, we will have giant viewing screens placed around the circuit so you won't miss a moment of the action. Screen locations will be confirmed closer to the event.

Security at the Circuit

Only Registered Assistance Dogs with prior arrangement are admitted into the venue and car parks. To register please email  [email protected] in advance of the event.

Yes, as we have enhanced security measures in place, you may be searched upon entering the venue. You are limited to one rucksack per person with a maximum capacity of 20 litres.  

To help us ensure a smooth entry process, please

  •  Arrive early and leave plenty of time for searches
  • Do not leave your bag unattended at any time
  • Read our list of prohibited items 

For security reasons, we are unable to offer a luggage storage facility on site.

Yes, Silverstone Circuits Ltd and the police have a zero tolerance policy to illegal substances. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country – and the dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned by Silverstone Circuits Ltd. Police officers and security guards will be on site throughout the event and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated.

Please note that you may be searched at the entrance. Any items which the organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and / or offensive activities onsite may be searched. If you do get caught you will be escorted off the site, and refused re-admission.

Yes, photographic equipment, mobile telephones and other private communication devices are permitted within the venue provided that they are for personal and private non commercial purposes.

Entry CRITERIA

No, but we do expect all display cars to be a minimum of 20 years old or of special interest as determined by the Car Club Team. There are two pricing tiers of display packages:

1) For classic cars that are tax exempt at the time of the event (pre-1983)

2) For cars that are not tax exempt at the time of the event (1983+)

Your club will be able to share the relevant code with you so that you can complete your booking relative to the age of your car.

Yes, your car must be representative of the club the booking code has been used for.

Infield vehicle display passes

The vehicle display pass is posted approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

Yes, your car can be left on display overnight inside the event, but it must have a valid vehicle display pass for the following day and will be left at the vehicle owners own risk. No cars must be left inside the event overnight on the Sunday.

If a club member needs to change their vehicle details AFTER purchasing a car club display package AND the vehicle model still represents the club, the club member will need to:

- Until 31 May, complete the online vehicle change form.

- From 1 June email the Car Club Team with the following information – [email protected]:

If the vehicle model does NOT represent the club, the club member will be required to park in the public parking outside the circuit.

No. Given the large public spectator levels at The Classic, there is to be no car club display vehicle movement between 09:00 and 17:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

No – it has to be purchased as part of the car club package (or as part of a RetroRun Package).

Parades

Parades will be allocated 3-4 months prior to the event date as they are dependent on the car clubs that register, the number of members that attend with their cars, the days the cars are attending and the significance of the anniversary. The car club co-ordinator will be contacted by the Car Club Team directly to advise if the club will be allocated a parade. Please contact your car club co-ordinator directly should you wish to find out more about the parade status.

Passengers under 18 must have the signed approval of their parent or guardian to participate in a track parade. Passengers in Touring Cars, or Cabriolet/Sports Cars with the hood erected or hardtop fitted, must be 12 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. Passengers in Cabriolet/Sports Cars without the hood erected or hardtop fitted must be aged 16 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. No child under 12 years is allowed to be a passenger. This is subject to change at the discretion of Motorsport UK.
