BE PART OF OUR
FUN RUN
The Festival Fun Run is BACK.
How cool does a map of the iconic track look on your Strava feed? Very! Dust off your trainers and experience every twist and turn of the track… and it’s all in support of a brilliant local cause, too!
FRIDAY 23 AUGUST
WHAT'S THE FUN RUN?
It’s a charity fundraising event taking place on Friday 23 August around the UK’s most iconic motor racing circuit as part of Silverstone Festival after qualifying sessions have finished for the day (around 7.15pm). Lace up your trainers and get ready for starters’ orders after Friday’s qualifying sessions – put yourself on pole!
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
It’s open to anyone aged 10 and above but you do need to hold an event ticket, and there’s a charity donation of £10 due too. Runners aged 10-15 must be with a responsible adult at all times while taking part in the Fun Run.
HOW FAR IS IT?
It’s a little over 5K (5.14 to be precise!)
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
Yes – you must be able to complete the distance within 50 mins. It’s a run and not a walk.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Online registrations have now closed but you can register in person at the snvb Community Larders stand in the Zero Zone at the event (before 5.30pm).
All money raised will go towards supporting snvb Community Larders in their mission to get affordable food into the hands of the local community.
