2024 BTCC calendar

The 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship calendar was announced earlier than most series in 2023, with its usual recipe for action-packed race weekends requiring little in the way of tweaking. 

Optimum broadcast timetable on ITVIn a bid to reach as wide an audience as possible on ITV, series organiser TOCA opted to lock in dates for the 2024 BTCC calendar early, circumventing any clashes with the Olympics and Euros that same year. 

A carbon copy of the BTCC 2023 calendarThe calendar itself is almost entirely the same as the 2023 schedule. Each race weekend has retained a slot almost identical to that of twelve months prior (the largest difference being a week), with the Donington Park GP Circuit remaining part of the line-up after a lengthy absence. 

The full line-upAs has been the case for a number of years, the season will get underway at Donington Park’s National Circuit on 28 April, swiftly followed by Brands Hatch Indy in early May. Then comes Snetterton (300), Thruxton and Oulton Park – Island configuration – in quick succession, spanning the end of May and June, before the summer break halts proceedings. 

Croft in July signals the start of the second half of the season followed by the series’ annual pilgrimage north of the border to Knockhill and a return to Donington Park for a turn on its GP layout, both of which are held in August. 

The season concludes with the penultimate event at Silverstone around the National Circuit in late September followed by October’s season finale at Brands Hatch (GP).
