The 2024 MotoGP British Grand Prix bucket list

Fans attend the MotoGP British Grand Prix for the thrilling on-track action, but there’s much more than that to see across the weekend. From opportunities to meet your favourite riders to high-octane stunt shows and much more, we’ve put together a list of off-track activities you won’t want to miss in 2024.

 

The Schedule

Thursday

  • Day of Champions – don’t miss Two Wheels for Life’s Day of Champions which kickstarts the weekend with all-day family-friendly entertainment, the Two Wheels Ride in and circuit parade, and the famous auction.

 

Friday

  • Hall 1 (The Wing), all day – Explore a celebration of 75 years of MotoGP. A range of iconic bikes and memorabilia will be on display from all eras of the sport’s great history. This exhibition will also be open from 12:30-18:00 on Saturday and 11:00-18:00 on Sunday.
  • Manufacturer and Trade Village, 08:30-17:00 – Machine shop is open allowing fans to try their hand at powder coating, welding and much more. The Machine Shop opens at the same time on Saturday and an hour earlier on Sunday.
  • Monster Compound, 11:45 – FMX Show featuring bikes and snowmobiles taking on ramps and obstacles is sure to get the adrenaline pumping. There will be further showings at 11:45 and 17:15 on Saturday as well as 10:45 and 16:05 on Sunday.
  • Monster Backyard, 12:10 – some seriously impressive riding will be on display in the Monster Backyard Smoke Show which features a Harley stunt show and much more! Other shows will take place at 17:55 on Saturday and 10:10 and 15:30 on Sunday.
  • The Main Stage, 20:45 – Friday headliners Sigma kick off the weekend.

 

Saturday

  • Hall 1 (The Wing), 11:45 – Meet the stars of Moto2 and Moto3 at the Hero Walk in Hall 1 of The Wing. Add your tickets here.
  • Main Stage, 17:20 – Two Wheels for Life Auction raising money for a worthy cause. 
  • Monster Compound, 17:30 – MotoGP athletes visit the compound. 
  • Main Stage, 18:00 – MotoGP riders take to the main stage for insightful interviews. 
  • Main Stage, 20:00 – Saturday night culminates with a headline performance from The Kooks. 

     

Sunday

  • On track, 10:00 – the rider fan parade takes to the track 
  • Hall 1 (The Wing), 10:20 – Meet your favourite MotoGP riders at the MotoGP Hero Walk. This is now SOLD OUT.  
  • On track, 17:00 – Fans have a chance to walk the iconic Silverstone circuit. 
  • Main Stage, 19:00 – Sunday’s headliners, The Darkness sign off the weekend with a high-energy performance.
