An F1 fan watching the 2024 British Grand Prix

When and where to watch the 2024 British Grand Prix

The 2024 British Grand Prix weekend (4-7 July) is nearly upon us, and as always, fans will be out in force to show their support for not only one of the most anticipated events on the motorsport calendar, but also our three stellar British drivers, all of whom are hungry for that coveted home win.

For those who are unable to catch all of the action trackside, we’ve put together a handy guide for how to watch the 2024 British Grand Prix from the comfort of your own home.

Where to watch the 2024 British Grand Prix

The 2024 British Grand Prix will be broadcast live from Silverstone on Sky Sports F1 and Sky Showcase. For non-Sky customers, it is also available on Now TV and free-to-air on Channel 4.

Sky Sports F1

For existing Sky TV customers, the Sky Sports package – which includes Sky Sports F1 – is currently on offer at £20 a month should you sign up to an 18-month contract. For those new to Sky, a Sky Entertainment and Netflix package will need to be taken out for £26 a month (also on a rolling contract) with the additional sports package added on.

Now TV

If a Sky contract isn’t your thing, then Now TV offer an attractive alternative. On a six-month contract, Now TV charges £26 per month for access to all 12 Sky Sports channels.

If you’re only interested in watching the British Grand Prix (understandable), then a 24-hour access option is available for a one-off payment of £14.99 and can be streamed from your mobile, tablet, computer or TV.

Three British drivers in the mix for a home win?

If the formbook in recent races is anything to go by, it wouldn’t be out of the question to see any one of the British F1 drivers on the 2024 British Grand Prix podium.

With one win in the bag already this season and a pacey McLaren underneath him, Lando Norris will be hoping to repeat his heroics from Turn 1 last year and lead his home race, but perhaps go one better and take the win.

Likewise, the MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s pace has improved of late, and a podium at the Canadian Grand Prix for George Russell have only fanned the flames of a potential home-race podium for George or even team-mate Lewis Hamilton in his finally British Grand Prix outing for Mercedes.
