Unpredictable elements

Silverstone is based on an old airfield, so pockets of weather can appear without warning, and depart as quickly as they arrived. Wind, rain, sunshine, and everything in between, you’re likely to experience a range of conditions at the track, sometimes in the space of a single afternoon! It’s important to expect the unexpected at the 2024 MotoGP British Grand Prix.

For those not in a covered grandstand, it can get particularly wet and windy. Be sure to remember an umbrella, poncho/raincoat and waterproof footwear. There is also every possibility of a sweltering summer’s day, so don’t forget a hat, sunglasses and sun cream.

Stay fed and watered

There’s no shortage of food and drink stalls in various locations around the circuit, with plenty of variety to choose from too.

Dedicated water stations are also placed in convenient spots around the track, so on hot days our fans can stay hydrated.

Fully charged

A phone battery drains rapidly over the course of a day at the circuit. Using ticket apps, taking photos and videos and navigating a digital map takes its toll, so it’s best to be fully charged before leaving the house. A portable battery is an even better way to ensure you’re never out of battery when you need it most.
