Silverstone are delighted to confirm that the Formula 1 British Grand Prix will be the first event to trial the Sprint Qualifying format that was announced by Formula 1 and the FIA on 26 April.
The shorter sprint qualifying race will run to about one-third of the distance of a grand prix.
Silverstone is delighted to confirm that the Formula 1 British Grand Prix has been included in the latest phase of the UK Government’s Event Research Programme (ERP) and, as such, will be able to welcome all ticket holders to the 2021 event this July.
Silverstone has partnered with Mahiki, London’s legendary hotspot, to inject some Tiki fun to each evening of the 2021 Formula 1 British Grand Prix weekend. The Mahiki T1 Enclosure, which overlooks the first corner of the famous race circuit, will host the Friday Launch Party, Saturday Tiki Takeover and Official Sunday After Party.
