Once again, it was the British drivers who took centre stage in Austria as frontrunner Lando Norris crashed out after contact with reigning champion Max Verstappen. The incident took place just seven laps from the end, wrecking both drivers' chances of a podium place, while allowing Mercedes' George Russell to slip into the lead and claim his second victory in his Formula One career.

Formula 1 has today announced the opening eight races of the 2020 calendar following the postponement of the 2020 FIA Formula 1 World Championship due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The calendar has been approved by the FIA.
The Formula 2 & 3 opening race calendar has also been published alongside this with full details available on the Formula 2 and Formula 3 websites.
