If you’re interested in applying to become a Race Maker, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate your preferred role for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix during the application process.
While we will do our best to accommodate your preference, roles cannot be guaranteed. If you’re successful, Race Makers may have the flexibility to change their preferred role per event, depending on the roles available. In general, our most widely available opportunity across our events is the Customer Service Race Maker role.
All the roles listed below apply to the 2025 Formula 1 British Grand Prix.

Be part of the big-hearted welcome to Silverstone for our fans! We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to bring excitement to our fans, while also delivering essential information and guidance.
What does this role involve?
- Greeting fans to Silverstone
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Overseeing our Information Points
- Providing our fans with key information and directions
- Assisting fans who may need extra support or accessibility transport
- Champion our ‘Shift to Zero’ sustainability campaign
- Entertaining and assisting our fans at gate entrances and areas with queues

Be the friendly, welcoming face that greets fans as they arrive at the grandstands, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience! You’ll be creating moments of connection with our fans on the build-up to track action, while providing information and guiding fans to their seats.

Join us in creating an inclusive experience for every spectator at Silverstone, regardless of their accessibility needs. You'll be there to assist our fans with accessibility requirements to get around the venue and welcome them to the accessible spectator areas, ensuring they enjoy their experience at Silverstone.
What does this role involve?
- Assisting our fans with accessibility needs to get around the venue
- Communicating pick-up/drop-off requests to our team of drivers
- Welcoming and entertaining our fans on our accessible shuttle service
- Providing fans with accessibility information
- Supporting our fans with accessibility needs within spectator areas
- Driving our minibuses for the accessibility shuttle service (optional – small events only)*

Our Hospitality Race Makers will be the friendly faces providing fantastic customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, a friendly and professional demeanour, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

- Welcoming our hospitality guests to the circuit
- Providing guests with hospitality information
- Assist our guests with any entertainment and venue queries
- Support our Hospitality Team with providing a great guest experience

You will be an essential part of the operations during our major events, providing on-the-ground assistance to the People & Culture team and ensuring that all staff and volunteers have the support they need to perform their roles effectively.

- Coordinating workforce transport requests
- Supporting with logistics and helping distribute event essentials
- Supporting our Team Leaders with coordinating volunteer breaks

- Driving our fleet of vehicles including minibuses (optional)*

Our Last Mile team will be creating a positive, energetic atmosphere, ensuring fans have a smooth and enjoyable transition to and from the event. Help set the tone for an exciting day by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with any needs, making sure each fan’s journey is seamless and memorable.
What does this role involve?
- Welcoming our fans to the park & ride transport hubs (Milton Keynes Train Station, Sixfields & Turweston)
- Guiding our fans to their bus transfers Supporting fans to provide a seamless and memorable journey
- Providing general event information to our fans
