Williams will lift the covers on the FW47 at Silverstone in a one-off livery. The Grove-based outfit has opted to reveal its 2025 race colours at the F1 season launch on February 18 with new driver Carlos Sainz alongside Alex Albon.

2025 F1 Launch Event

18 February

A special launch event will be hosted at the O2 Arena in London, celebrating the start of F1’s 75th anniversary season. All 20 F1 drivers, new cars and team principals will all be in attendance, with music and entertainment for fans to enjoy – both in-person and streamed – throughout the event.

Ferrari

Launch date: 19 February

The 2025 Ferrari F1 car launch is one of the most anticipated reveals in recent memory with Lewis Hamilton making his first appearance in red alongside Charles Leclerc. It’s still unclear whether the official race livery will be revealed on this date.

McLaren

Launch date: TBC

The McLaren Technology Centre in Woking will likely host the unveiling of the papaya cars as it has done in recent years. As reigning team champions, and with two supremely fast drivers in Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, McLaren is a team to keep your eye on in 2025.

Red Bull

Launch date: TBC

Red Bull may have won the drivers’ title in 2024, but the RB20’s lack of pace over the course of the season meant the team fell behind both McLaren and Ferrari in the constructors. As a result, this year’s car launch could be more understated than recent years as Liam Lawson makes his first appearance as a Red Bull driver alongside reigning champion Max Verstappen.

Mercedes

Launch date: TBC

Mercedes will likely present its W16 challenger from its Brackley base as Italian rookie Kimi Antonelli slots into the gap left by Hamilton, with George Russell remaining with the team for a fourth season. Will the silver arrows be able to recapture its elusive race-winning pace of last year?

Aston Martin

Launch date: TBC

The arrival of Adrian Newey could see a change in fortunes for Aston Martin, but that’s more likely to coincide with the regulation overhaul for the 2026 season. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll may well be resigned to another year in no man’s land then, in that awkward spot behind the front runners but ahead of the midfield. The team is expected to reveal its 2025 car at its new Silverstone facility.

Alpine

Launch date: TBC

Alpine was a team on the up in the final handful of races in 2024, so naturally hopes are high heading into 2025. Jack Doohan will start his first full campaign alongside Pierre Gasly.

Haas

Launch date: TBC

Like Alpine, Haas was coming on strong at the end of last season. 2024 super sub Oliver Bearman is another driver making his full-time debut in 2025, with Esteban Ocon completing the team’s all-new line-up. The American team opted for a digital-only launch last year, so that may well be on the cards again this season.

RB

Launch date: TBC

RB may have started the 2024 season with some promising results, but by the second half, points were scarce. New recruit Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda will be hoping for an upturn in form for 2025.

Kick Sauber

Launch date: TBC

Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber was bottom of the pile in 2024, so the only way is up as the team enters its final year before the Audi F1 transition reaches completion. In preparation, an exciting driver line-up of Nico Hülkenberg and reigning F2 Champion Gabriel Bortoleto has been installed to get the team back on track.
