Formula 1 Liveries: 2023 Round-Up
27 February 2023All the 2023 F1 liveries have been revealed, and we’ve seen the cars out on track in Bahrain during testing. There are some familiar looks and exciting new designs on the grid this year - which one is your favourite?
Red Bull – RB19
The reigning double world champions launched the RB19 with a showcase version in New York. Not straying far from the team’s traditional blue, yellow and red livery, the Red Bull 2023 car appeared more or less as predicted.
Ferrari – SF-23
Treating us to a Valentine’s Day launch, Ferrari put on a live demonstration of the SF-23 in action. Unsurprisingly, the team’s 2023 F1 car is (you guessed it) red.
Mercedes – W14
Mercedes unveiled the W14 with a special presentation on home turf. We were delighted to host the team at Silverstone for launch day, and loved seeing the return to the black livery design for 2023.
McLaren – MCL60
Named to celebrate 60 years of McLaren in racing, the MCL60 was revealed at the team’s HQ and featured the now-familiar papaya orange and blue colour scheme.
Alpine – A523
Alpine will once again run two liveries during the F1 season, with their traditional blue-with-hints-of-pink appearing during the majority of races and a pink-themed ‘BWT special’ livery for a few weekends.
Aston Martin – AMR23
Aston Martin stuck true to form with the new AMR23 in the team’s flagship green colour. Well, as they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It appears the team has sensibly put funds towards car development instead.
Alfa Romeo – C43
A bold design in red and black, the 2023 Alfa Romeo has a striking look. Zhou showed some good pace in testing, so perhaps the car will live up to its menacing livery.
AlphaTauri – AT04
AlphaTauri went for glamour to launch the AT04 for the 2023 season, with a fashion-focused reveal in New York. White, red and navy form a sophisticated livery design which has been looking great in the sunlight in Bahrain.
Williams – FW45
One of the quirkier liveries on the grid this year, the Williams FW45 design takes advantage of the team’s Duracell partnership and uplifts the expected blue hue with a smooth matte finish.
Haas – VF-23
While Haas revealed the livery for the VF-23 in January, it wasn’t until running on track here at Silverstone that we got a glimpse of the actual 2023 car in red, black and white.
