
Highlights from the F1 75 Live season launch event
19 February 2025Formula 1 commemorated its 75th anniversary with a spectacular launch event, F1 75 Live, held at London's The O2 Arena on February 18, 2025. The event was the first of its kind, bringing all 10 teams and the 20 drivers together to unveil the entire 2025 F1 grid in one evening of entertainment and spectacle.
Jack Whitehall sets the scene
The evening was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, whose charismatic presence and humour kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the event. Jack was joined by F1 TV presenters Laura Winter, Ariana Bravo and Lawrence Barretto.
2025 F1 livery reveals
In a departure from F1’s traditional individual team launches, F1 75 Live saw all 10 teams reveal their 2025 liveries in one evening. Each team had a dedicated segment to showcase their challengers and introduce their drivers for the upcoming season.
Ferrari
Ferrari unveiled the SF-25, alongside its driver pairing of Lewis Hamilton – who dons the iconic red overalls for the first time – and Charles Leclerc. At the event, seven-time champion Hamilton said he felt ‘invigorated’ ahead of his first season with the Scuderia.
Red Bull Racing
Red Bull Racing captivated the audience with its high-energy reveal and "Start Me Up" by the Rolling Stones as the soundtrack. The new livery maintains its signature colours with reigning champion Max Verstappen now joined by Liam Lawson.
McLaren
McLaren introduced the MCL39, with drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri returning for another season as team-mates. As was the case in 2024, the reigning constructors’ champions went for a black and papaya design with every intention of defending the title.

Live music
Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the F1 75 Live event featured performances by renowned musical artists:
- Machine Gun Kelly brought his unique blend of rap and rock to a memorable performance.
- Brian Tyler’s Are We Dreaming, the composer behind the official F1 theme, played ‘Supernova’ prior to the Alpine livery reveal.
- Kane Brown, a country music star, didn’t disappoint with his distinctive style during his time on stage.
- Tems, a Nigerian singer-songwriter, performed during Aston Martin’s unforgettable reveal.
- Take That delivered nostalgia in spades, bringing the curtain down on a spectacular event with fan-favourite songs like ‘Greatest Day’
