If all 22 rounds go ahead as planned, the 2025 MotoGP season will be the biggest in history, surpassing the 20-round calendars of the last three years.

MotoGP 2025 season opener heads to Thailand
The 2025 MotoGP calendar kicks off at the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand from 28 February to 2 March, getting the championship battle underway and setting the tone for the next nine months.
An earlier slot for Silverstone
Instead of the usual August slot, MotoGP will now visit Silverstone in May meaning there’s much less time for fans to wait to see the pinnacle of motorcycle racing on British soil!

New and returning venues join the calendar
The 2025 MotoGP calendar features three new additions and returning venues, including Argentina in South America, Brno in the Czech Republic, and Balaton Park in Hungary.
India delayed, Kazakhstan dropped
A visit to India for MotoGP in 2025 has been postponed by one year, while Kazakhstan looks to have finally been dropped from the calendar after a number of unsuccessful attempts to race at the Sokol International Racetrack.
Summer break and flyaway events
The summer break has a later slot from mid-July until mid-August and a new flyaway section of the calendar will see Indonesia, Japan and Australia separated by three short weeks.
