Silverstone Festival 2024: The bucket list for off-track entertainment

Silverstone Festival is known for retro and classic motorsport by the bucketload, but those who know the event will attest to the variety of off-track, family-friendly entertainment as well. Come for the cars, but stay for everything else; the mouth-watering food, the top-tier musical artists and much, much more!

From Diddly Squat Farm Shop at Foodie Fest to F1 in the Fanzone, and rides galore in the adrenaline zone to the Busted on the eBay stage, there’s something for everyone at the Silverstone Festival 2024. There is loads to see and do, so we’ve collected all the best bits in one place.

The Schedule

Friday 

• 09:00-18:00 – The Artisan Market, Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Tasting Tent, Shopping Village, Young Driver and Silverstone Museum are all open from 09:00 to 18:00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 
• 09:00-19:30 – Fancy setting a lap on one of the BWT Alpine F1 Team Trak Racer Simulators to see how you stack up against the competition? They’re open from 09:00 to 19:30 on each of the three days. 
• 10:00-18:00 - Soft play, circus workshops, crazy golf & garden games are all open on the village green from Friday through to Sunday. 
• 10:00 – 20:30 – The Silverstone Festival funfair and thrill rides are open throughout the weekend in the Adrenaline Zone!
• 10:45-11:30, Foodie Fest – Really Good Sausages spill the beans on the science of sausage making. Follow up with the art and fun of sausage making at the same time on Saturday and how to make a really good burger blend on Sunday.
• 20:00-21:00, eBay Stage – Sophie Ellis-Bextor kicks off the weekend in style as Friday night’s headline act. 
• 20:30-20:45 – The nightly hot air balloon night glow takes place at the same time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday

• 11:00 – One of three Iconic Auctioneers auctions across the weekend. On Saturday it’s a collectors’ car sale, on Friday there’s a focus on competition cars and then, on Sunday it’s motorcycles. 
• 12:15-13:00, Foodie Fest – Cheese on Towcest demonstrates the art of cheese making at home. At the same time on Friday, there will be a talk about the history of cheese and on Sunday, cheese tasting! 
• 12:30-13:00, Foodie Fest – 2021 Great British Bake Off winner Giuseppe Dell'Anno will be on stage at the Silverstone Kitchen Live. He’ll return for another appearance at 14:30. 
• 13:20-13:40, eBay Stage – BGT finalists Northampton Sings Out Choir take to the eBay Stage. Another performance will take place at 13:45 on Sunday.
• 20:15-21:15, eBay Stage – Saturday’s headliners Busted will bring the energy to the eBay stage with their nostalgic classics.

Sunday 

• 12:30-13:00, Foodie Fest – 2021 Great British Bake Off finalist Chigs Parmar is on stage at Silverstone Kitchen Live. He’ll return for another appearance at 14:40. 
• 16:00-16:45, Foodie Fest - Diddly Squat Farm Shop showcase Chilli Cocktails in a tasting tent masterclass. At the same time on Saturday, it’s Bee Juice Cocktails and on Friday it’ll be the perfect pairing for Diddly drinks. 
• 16:45-16:55, eBay Stage – Mike Brewer and Marc Priestley take a look over a 1972 Morris Mini. The Wheeler Dealers will also appear on the eBay stage with various cars at 11:05, 12:55 and 14:05 on Sunday and 11:10, 11:50, 13:40 and 14:20 on Sunday. 
• 19:30, in air – The Red Devils will make an appearance in the skies above Silverstone. 
• 20:00-21:00, eBay Stage – Olly Murs rounds out the weekend with live music from Sunday’s headliner.
