In more exciting news, visitors to this summer’s extra special edition of the Silverstone Festival (22-24 August) will be treated to a fabulous display of spectacular supercars.
As already confirmed, this year’s August Bank Holiday weekend at Silverstone will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship which was inaugurated at Silverstone in 1950.
Now the presence of many of the most incredible road-going machines will add yet another dimension to what is already one of the standout highlights on every enthusiast’s 2025 calendar.
Organised by Supercar Driver, the UK’s leading community for supercar owners, the Supercar Driver Paddock will be open to everyone to savour in Silverstone’s International Paddock on all three days of the Festival.
All the illustrious high-performance brands will be well represented, including the very latest speedsters from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche.
“This brilliant new collaboration with Supercar Driver is a win-win for all involved,” explained Nick Wigley, event director. “All the tens of thousands heading to Silverstone for the Festival will love seeing an amazing gathering of incredible supercars, while the owners of the cars will enjoy exclusive access plus all the unrivalled entertainment the Festival has to offer both on and off the famous Grand Prix track.”
This year’s packed racecard not only includes races paying tribute to the 75 years since F1 was born at Silverstone, but also spectacular showdowns starring competition versions of the illustrious supercars on show in the International Paddock.
Silverstone hosted Supercar Driver’s Secret Meet event at the circuit for the very first time last summer and in 2025, the many attractions that the Festival has in store will be a great addition to the Supercar Driver diary this coming summer.
“Supercar Driver was created to enhance the experience of owning a supercar and to provide a reason to drive. As we celebrate 15 years in 2025, I’m confident our special partnership with Silverstone Festival will resonate deeply with our members and everyone attending," shared the club’s founder, Adam Thorby. "Our communities share a mutual passion for extraordinary cars, and we’re eagerly looking ahead to the end-of-summer Bank Holiday weekend with great excitement.”
All Silverstone Festival tickets give access to both racing paddocks, open trackside grandstands plus an incredible line-up of family friendly activities and attractions. These include three evenings of live music concerts from chart-topping performers, selected fun fair rides, stunt shows and a wealth of other top class Bank Holiday entertainment for all ages. Accompanied children aged 15 and under can attend free.
